The Best Las Vegas Buffets

by Heather on January 9th, 2008

Buffets are as Las Vegas as Elvis and neon. However, over the years they’ve gone through quite a transformation. Many of them no longer resemble the standard lunchroom look that they did for so long, instead they’ve undergone makeovers to look like quaint markets, gourmet eateries or art galleries.

Forbes magazine recently announced their picks for the best buffets in Vegas. We’ve eaten at the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio (a fraction of the dessert station is pictured above) and were suitably impressed. It was our first time at a “new” buffet and I was intrigued by the chefs behind their counters, preparing whar was ordered seemingly instantly. The food was fresh, plentiful and tasty. The dining area was large and even though we were there for dinner we didn’t feel crowded or rushed.

Other buffets on the list include Le Village Buffet, Paris Las Vegas; The Buffet at the Bellagio; Cravings at the Mirage; Feast Around The World Buffet, Green Valley Ranch Casino; The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas; Spice Market Buffet, Planet Hollywood; Village Seafood, Rio All-suite & Casino; Bally’s Sterling Brunch; and The Buffet at Treasure Island.
