It begins with a visit from Merlin the wizard and then evolves into lip-syncing knights, spectacular pyrotechnics, amazing stunts and a joust between kings that you get to cheer for depending on the section you’re seated in.

The food, which is the same for everyone (no menu) and usually consists of soup, cornish game hens, vegetables, bread and dessert, is served by costumed waitstaff and yes, you really do eat with your hands! There are unlimited refills of soda, which comes in a souvenir cup, and beer and mixed drinks are also available for purchase.

The show is about 90 minutes long and has two showtimes every night at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Tickets are $54 and can be purchased online or by calling (702) 597-7600.

Kids under 3 are free but they have to sit on a lap and share the dinner with a paying member. There is also no separate kids’ menu so you might want to think about a sitter if you don’t want to spend that much on a plate that’ll go untouched, though that could also be a result of being too distracted to care about food!

Tournament of Kings Dinner Show
The Excalibur
3850 Las Vegas Boulevard South

Post from: The Las Vegas Adventurer

Hotel Spotlight: Excalibur

Family Fun

Food & Beverage

History & Information

Hotels

Just a Bit Weird - Fun & Quirky Places

Lodging

Must-See Sights

Nightlife

Resources

arthurian legend

castle

excalibur

food-and-beverage

histor and information

hotel and casino

Las-Vegas

regale italian eatery

roundtable buffet

sir galahad's prime cuts

the steakhouse of camelot

thunder from down under

tournament of kings

village food court

[image source: wikipedia] The Excalibur Hotel and Casino opened June 19, 1990 with an Arthurian-legend theme at a cost of $290 million.
