Walking With Dinosaurs: The Live Experience
UNLV and Thomas & Mack Center present Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience. Fifteen “live” dinosaurs take center stage to depict the dinosaurs’ evolution spanning their 200 million year existence. Stars of the show include 15 actual-sized dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and the Raptor.
Based on the award-winning BBC TV series, the show is a narrated tour through the many ages of the dinosaurs by a lone, onstage “archaeologist.” The dialog is full of the science and geology of the times – plate tectonics, continental drift as well as details about the 15 species represented.
