Desert Big Horn Sheep are the state animal of Nevada and can be seen fairly often in a lot of tourist spots, from Red Rock Canyon to Lake Mead.
Not that kind of strip, but I got your attention, right?
We see a lot of beautiful pictures of the Las Vegas Strip at night with all the bright lights and colors, and not so many taken during daylight hours. It almost looks like a regular city!

No, not that Palms! Even after so many years of living here it’s still weird now and then to see palm trees everywhere, which I’ve always thought of as more of a tropical tree, which Vegas definitely isn’t!

Driving over the Hoover Dam is a lesson in patience. The two-lane bridge connecting Nevada, Arizona and Utah is often clogged with traffic and has even become an economic burden on the states because the major commercial corridor simply doesn’t move quickly enough.
