In only 90 seconds you can go from being part of the hustle and bustle of the Strip to just an observer!

This isn’t an attraction for the vertigo-prone – from the moment you leave the ground in the glass enclosed elevator until you get to the top of the mesh enclosed deck 460 feet up – you can’t help but be aware you’re leaving terra firma behind! The amazing view at the top is worth it, though, and if you haven’t left your camera in the car there are small holes in the mesh around the 360-degree observation deck specifically for taking unobstructed pictures. There is no time limit on how long you can stay on the deck.

Though it’s only half the height of the Stratosphere tower the Eiffel Tower is in a much better area if you’re interested in what’s going on on the Strip, and if you time it just right you can even get a birds-eye view of the Bellagio fountains below! Day and night visits each have their merits depending on which skyline you’re interested in seeing – the beautiful desert horizon in the distance or the bright and flashy lights right next to and below you.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office and Eiffel Tower gift shop. Adults are $9 for adults and $7 for senior citizens; Children under 5 are free.

Paris Las Vegas
3655 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Open from 10am to 1am.

Post from: The Las Vegas Adventurer

Picture of the Week: Electrified Strip

Hotels

Must-See Sights

Photos

Las-Vegas

paris las vegas

photo

planet-hollywood

the-Strip

To tie in with yesterday’s entry about Planet Hollywood I found this picture by flickr user jimg944 of a beautifully lit PH and Paris Las Vegas.
