It goes without saying that no matter which party you’re pulling for, this is an important election year! With Las Vegas being as transient as it is, though, many people don’t give much thought on registering to vote, but it really couldn’t be any easier.

Free Comic Book Day is an event held on the first Saturday of May and all 13 Las Vegas comic book shops will be participating!
40 comic books have been created specifically for the event, though keep in mind that not all locations will have all the books available. The giveaway usually coincides with the release of a comic book-related movie and this year’s event compliments the release of Iron Man, which opened today.

When you live in Las Vegas it can be a challenge to come up with other places to go on vacation. It’s been many years since we did a family vacation and since my husband and I celebrated a milestone anniversary yesterday we decided to go all out and decided on Hawaii to celebrate!
