One of the most recognizable landmarks in the Las Vegas valley is the Luxor pyramid and the fixed spotlight at the top. It’s the brightest beam in the world and you can see it from anywhere in the valley at night – even way out in the suburbs – and has been known to be seen as far away as Laughlin and Mesquite!

Criss Angel “Believe” To Open In September at the Luxor

Starting September 1, previews for illusionist Criss Angel Believe will begin at the Luxor. The show opens to the public on September 12 and tickets are already on sale starting at $59 and going up from there.
Angel will perform ten shows a week – two nightly performances from Friday to Tuesday at 7pm and again at 10pm – and Angel has reportedly said his contract with the Luxor is for a ten year run with an option to renew for five more years after that!

The Luxor Hotel opened in 1993 at a cost of $375 million and was the city’s first fully-themed mega-resort as well as the largest building on the Strip. The Ancient Egyptian themed resort has 4,407 hotel rooms and is named after the city of Luxor in Egypt. The light at the top of the pyramid can be viewed from space!
