400 competitors will be converging on the Tropicana this weekend for what can only be considered one of the best ideas for a contest ever – a chili cook-off!
From October 10th to the 12th, competitors from all over the US will compete in one or more of the following categories: World’s Championship Salsa, World’s Championship Chili Verde and World’s Championship Traditional Red. Cash prizes for the 2008 WCCC total $45,000!

Las Vegas is full of freebies: free valet parking, free drinks at the slots, free shuttles, etc. However, it’s a good idea to always have a few bucks in your pocket for a tip.
You could argue that the services are free and therefor you’re not obligated to pay, which is fine, but keep in mind that if you do believe in tipping for good service chances are you’ll continue getting good service!

First off, I love Samantha Brown. If you don’t have the Travel Channel her shows alone are worth it. So when I found out that her new show titled Passport to Great Getaways premieres tonight and that I had a chance for a sneak peak on her Las Vegas weekend, I jumped at the chance!
