Las Vegas Weekend Events

It’s a busy weekend in Las Vegas so I thought I’d revive the Weekend Events to make sure I get them all in!

~ Check out the large list of Easter Egg hunts around the valley, as well as the Easter Brunches.

~ Green Valley Fine Arts Festival at Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson; (818) 709-2907. Featuring original artwork in all mediums of fine art and fine crafts from artists from Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Oregon. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, free.

~ Critical Kondition Dance Fest at West Las Vegas Library Theatre, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.; 229-5096. Featuring a hip-hop festival with Hypnotix Dance Crew, Kappa League, Critical Kondition dance teams, D-Money from KVEG-FM, 97.5 will be the master of ceremonies at 6 p.m. Saturday, $7 in advance, $10 at the door, children younger than 5 are free with a supervising adult. Seating is limited.

~ Easter Cultural Festival at East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.; 229-1515. Presented with KISF-FM, 103.5, KRGT-FM, 99.3 and KLSQ-AM, 870 and featuring live entertainment, games, prizes, information booths and the Easter Bunny noon-3 p.m. Saturday, free. Fair information will be presented in English and Spanish.

~ Nellis BMX at Nellis Meadows Park, 4949 E. Cheyenne Ave.; 453-1663. BMX racing for all ages every Saturday. Registration takes place noon-1:30 p.m., racing to follow.
