Las Vegas Easter Egg Hunts

I can’t believe Easter is less than two weeks away. Didn’t we just have Christmas?? Anyway, I’ve dug through some newspapers and found some Easter egg hunts around the valley. Some are this weekend and some are actually on Easter, so keep an eye out!
This weekend:
Free Shining Star Egg Hunt
(ages 10-16)
Friday, March 14, 7:45 p.m. sharp. Pre-registration required.

Bring a flashlight and a basket to have fun hunting for eggs by the light of the moon and the stars.

Saturday, March 15, 10 a.m. sharp. Pre-registration required.

Bring a basket to hunt for colorful eggs and prizes, too
Eggspectacular Egg hunt and Carnival
(ages 18 months+)
Saturday, March 15, 10 to 11 a.m.
Fee: Carnival games $1 for 10 tickets; children’s egg hunt free.

Egg-Sighting Egg-stravaganza
(12 and under)
Saturday, March 15, 1-4 p.m.
Sunrise Community Center, 2240 Linn Lane
Free (small fee for food)
You’re invited to participate in an Egg-Sighting event that will include an egg hunt, carnival games, face painting, food, and more. The Egg-Sighting Egg-stravaganza is a collaborative effort between the Sunrise and Walnut Recreation Centers in northeast Las Vegas. Registration is required. Space is limited to the first 500 registered participants. Registration will be held February 18 - March 14, 2008.

16th Annual Egg Hunt

Children’s Memorial Park, Gowan Road and Torrey Pines
Join Councilman Ross for an Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Memorial Park location at Gowan Road and Torrey Pines. This event will start with the children finding colorful filled Easter eggs. You will also be able to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Other activities will include face painters, balloon artists and jump houses.
