There’s a lot more to do in Vegas on Halloween than just visit a few haunted houses!
Family Ranch Pumpkin Patch
~ McKee Ranch, 8982 S. Dean Martin Drive (one mile south past Silverton Hotel)

Spooktacular Haunted House and Costume Party
~ 2200 Mesquite Ave. (south of U.S. Highway 95, off Rancho Drive)
~ 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20
~ $12, children 5 and under $6
Call 645-7795 for more info. Presented by Daughters of the Nile to benefit the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals. Cake walk, pumpkin maze, play area and games for the little ones, pictures with a ghoul $1, candy. Admission includes complete spaghetti dinner.

Inspirada Fall Festival
~ Solista Park at Inspirada, 1890 Via Firenze in Henderson
~ Oct. 27
~ Admission is free to the festival. Howl at the Moon Dog Walk: $15 adults (pre-registration), $5 for children under 16. $20 for adults day of event.

The Howl at the Moon Dog Walk will take participants and their furry friends on a pathy throughout Inspirada. Along the route, walkers can register for prizes and enjoy tasty treats. Proceeds from the walk will benefit Parters with HPD K-9.”

6th Annual “Ghosts and Goblins of Nevada’s Past”
~ Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway
~ Oct. 27-28. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and close at 7:30 with last attractions closing at 8.
~ $2 general admission
Call 455-7955 for more info. Children get to trick or treat at 10 houses (attractions and games are an additional charge, parking is free). Costume contests.

With so many events for Halloween, it’s hard to choose which to enjoy.
