Cirque du Soleil’s “O” is celebrating ten years this month!

Cirque actually has a Twitter account and posted some fun facts yesterday about the ten years they’ve been in Las Vegas:

~ They’ve performed for 8.5 million guests.

~ There have been 223 performers in “O,” and there are still 26 original cast members, 28 original crew and 3 original staff members.

~ Over the years, the crew at “O” has spent more than 100,000 hours underwater during the shows.

~ The “O” high divers have traveled 270 miles through the air doing their 60 foot high dives.

~ The man on fire in “O” has burned for 198 hours.

We’ve lived her for 12 years and it took us until last month to finally see O. It was amazing. By far the best Cirque show we’ve seen and we’ve seen most of them.
