No, it’s not Venice.  It’s the Gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Okay, it’s a little touristy, and it’s definitely NOT Venice, but it’s still a bit of romantic fun away from the flashing lights and noise of the casinos.  You need to take a break from the fast paced action some time, and this isn’t a bad choice.

To celebrate its first year, the Springs Preserve is throwing an all-you-can-eat ice cream party this Sunday, June 8th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m! Activities will include improv comedy, live music, Celtic dancers, and tours.
Tickets are only $6 and include admission to all museums and galleries.
In its first year, the Springs Preserve has produced enough electricity from its 2,200 solar panels to power 80 homes for a whole year! I still can’t quite believe it’s already time again for haunted houses and trick-or-treating. Anyway, the kids might just be old enough this year for a haunted house or two!
