Nevada Garden Clubs will be sponsoring their annual spring flower show, “Dancing Into Spring,” this Saturday from 11:30am to 4pm, and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. The event takes place at the Nevada Garden Club Center in Lorenzi Park.
The Hawaiian Civic Club will also have a demonstration of lei making and will performance Hawaiian dances from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday. Admission is free!

Poetry Open Mic Night

Once a month, the North Las Vegas Library hosts “Poetry Open Mic” for all types of poetry.
The poetry reading happens every second Thursday (tomorrow!) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with sign up at the door. Guests must be 16 years old or older, and two poems, songs, pieces of writing or five minutes of mic time are allowed per participant. It must be noted if you are reading the work of others. Refreshments will be served.
