Bette Midler Performs Live From Las Vegas
Daytime talk show The View has been in Las Vegas this week and this morning Bette Midler performed “The Showgirl Must Go On” live!
In the clip below she talks about the show and characters, how she and her husband Martin were actually married at Caesars, and how she decided now was the time for a Vegas show:
She also mentions how when Celine Dion was giving her advice she recommended the Las Vegas Mix allergy spray. Don’t waste your money, Bette!

I hope everyone is as excited as I am to see Ms. Divine! I haven’t seen her live in about 10 years and will be in attendance next month at Caesars. (I would be in heaven if Tina Turner’s tour swung around Vegas the same weekend as Bette, but I can only dream.
Thanks guys!

Bette is probably the only show in Vegas I have ever seriously wanted to see. I’ve been a fan of hers since I was a kid, and to think she’s coming to Vegas now that I am gone makes me sad.

Alicia,
It’s a perfect time to go back and see her… When you were in Vegas, was the Coliseum at Caesars open yet? It’s a great venue and not a bad seat in the house. Plus, she is sure to have some surprises for the audience in attendance in her show. It has to be a special event that brings you back to Vegas… This is as good (if not better) than any.
Keep on Truckin’
