We are fortunate enough to have this symphony in our front yard every morning around 6am. Doubly fortunate that it’s right outside the kids’ bedroom windows! I have no idea what kind of birds these are but they only stick around for about a week before our blissful morning quiet is returned to us.

Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning musical directed by Des McAnuff, will be opening next week at the Palazzo Hotel.
Jersey Boys is about the musical group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, whose hits include “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and more.

The valley is covered in green. Plants and trees everywhere are blooming and releasing pollen. The biggest offenders right now are fruitless mulberry trees and European olive trees, of which several of my neighbors have.

Fox 5 Vegas is teaming up with 97.1 to host the 2008 Variety Kids-On-the-Go-athon. The two day telethon starts tomorrow at 6am and runs until 7pm, and Thursday at the same times as well.
