Palms Place Hotel and Condo
February 29th marks the opening of Las Vegas’s newest destination: Palms Place.
Boasting 47 stories with 599 glass-walled rooms, the hotel/condo contains no gambling facilities and is located a mile off-Strip. Don’t let that dissuade you from checking it out, though: a moving-sidewalk “skytube” will whisk you the 100 yards to the Palms Casino!
The rooms provide views of the Strip and mountains and are equipped with full kitchens, jacuzzi tubs, and private balconies. 7,000 sq ft penthouses with infinity pools that hang over the building’s edge are also available.
Other amenities include a Kerry Simon-run steak and sushi restaurant, a lobby bar, business center, conference rooms, Sunset Tan tanning salon, theaters, nightclubs, restaurants, and a bi-level, 50,000 sq ft pool and spa encompassing a Hammam: a coed steamroom with semi-private grottos, mood lighting, and calibrated temperatures.
