• Zion Canyon Field Institute at the Zion Canyon National Park (2.5 hours north of Vegas) is offering several fall workshops through November. This weekend’s workshop is “Zion History Picnic and Workshop” and costs $25. “Join us on a fall day for trailside lectures with local historians to sites of interest in Zion National Park. We will take short walks and learn about people who left their marks in Zion throughout the centuries by naming formations, rivers, trails, canyons, and more. In late afternoon the group will enjoy a Dutch oven dinner (Free with your ticket).”
